The team practices or competes 6 days per week. We will usually have a competition during the week and one on the weekend. Practices are immediately after school in the War Memorial Multi-Purpose room. The first practice of the year will take place the Monday after Thanksgiving (11/30 for 2026 season).
It depends, until the cutoff set by the MIAA. Reach out as soon as possible — the earlier you start, the more competitive matches you'll get.
Wrestling shoes, headgear, athletic shorts, and a t-shirt for daily practice. Singlets are issued by the program for competition. Mouthguards are required if you wear braces.
Weigh-ins happen within one hour of a dual or tournament start. We manage weight cuts gradually and safely — no crash cuts, no skipped meals. See the Health & Diet page for our approach.
Submit the Absence Form before the missed session whenever possible. Unexcused absences affect lineup decisions for upcoming meets.
The Schedule & Records page is updated weekly with current-season records. Highlights from recent meets are posted on the Highlights page.
